The Yoga of Yoga
Do you feel disconnected, detached, or unsure of yourself? This is because you have lost Yoga. You can reunite with yourself through simple practices that can be applied to your life without ever having to do a single posture. There is no need to chant mantra, put on stretchy pants, or even step foot in a studio.
Re-Unite with your Self
You are a puzzle. Start removing the pieces that don’t belong and perfect your image.
Yoga is being lost in the same way that a note on your desk disappears among a clutter of paperwork. It has become labeled as a religion, a workout, a style, a posture. As we become distracted by smartphones and tablets, virtual meetings and livestreams, on-demand and home delivery, we are filling our lives with unnecessary “paperwork” that veils our connection to ourselves.
This six-session interactive series provides guidance and support for you to begin and continue practicing Yoga in ways that can easily be included as part of your daily life.
Each session includes lecture, satsang and journaling. Gentle movement will be guided when it applies to the discussion.
Natural Mandala Workshop Private Experiences Available
Mandala making is a mindful way of harvesting and arranging elements from nature to characterize what is presently in your heart space.
Join Lake Tahoe Yoga for this unique experience of self harmonizing and reconnection with nature. A 60 minute guided asana practice with a focus upon balance will help you to develop grace and energetic pacing. Learn to steady the solar and lunar qualities within you through expression and acceptance.
You'll be guided outdoors for an intentional walk through the forest during which you will be offered opportunities to quietly experience the space surrounding you. As you walk, you will mindfully gather items that catch your eye, ears or energy.
Using these items we will create mandala: a symbol of your connection to nature and your Self.
