Tadasana Timeout - Hannah Release, relax, and restore from your day. Learn to breathe with intention and use yoga asana to reduce your stress level anywhere, anytime. Take the practice of mindfulness with you from the studio out into the world. Give yourself a time-out.
Weekday Recharge - Jenay Recharge your mind, body and soul. Build upon a gentle flow of postures that build heat and energy. Let the flow of yoga asana make you anew.
Self Defense - Anne Learn Kyusho Jitsu, or Pressure Point Self Defense, in a respectful environment. Learn how to use body mechanics and acupoints for defense and healing. Please pre-register.
Basics Breakdown - Jenay Whether new to the practice or experienced in asana practice with a beginner's mind. Join in learning the roots of each posture as well as how to direct your breath into movement. Learn the Sanskrit names of commonly practices postures. Become comfortable enough to join in at any studio.
PRAKRUTI PRACTICE Vata - Jenay When you're feeling: Nervous, Restless, Active, Expressive, Creative, Anxious, Sensitive. An effortful practice with a focus upon structure, alignment and conscious movement.
Move Your Asana - Hannah A fun flow of music and movement combining traditional Hatha Vinyasa with music chosen to shift your energy.
PRAKRUTI PRACTICE Pita - Jenay When you'r feeling: Dynamic, Willful, Focused, Determined, Assertive A slower practice with a focus upon intentional effort and release.
PRAKRUTI PRACTICE Kapha -Jenay When you're feeling: Calm, Content, Loyal, Consistent, Attached An active practice with a focus upon Vinyasa Krama (flow of postures) and letting go.
Happy Hour Yoga -TBD Let go of worry, stress and the work week with a mix of active movement and restorative stretching. Follow up your practice with conversation and connect with fellow practitioners over fizzy water, wine or beer.
Yoga Storytime -TBD Children interact through story and play to learn about yoga asana, breathing and philosophy.
Peaceful Playtime -Jenay Parents and children are welcome to join in this funky mix of play and asana. Toys, movement and activity will be combined with yoga asana. We allow the children the freedom to play or practice and everyone gets to enjoy a peaceful savasana.
Beach Asana & Sand Salutations (June-September) -Jenay/Shawna Refine your balance, learn to do inversions and challenge your focus. During the summer months, as long as the weather permits. You'll learn to improve not only your Asana practice but also your ability to be patient with your self. *Come prepared: bring a beach towel, warm clothing and water. Meet on the North end of Nevada Beach. Look for the string of cakra flags (rainbow-colored). Register to attend.
Community Class - Jenay Anything goes! Show up with a request or allow your instructor to choose the practice. A portion of every donation will be given to support a not-for-profit. Share with us your favorite group. Suggested donation $15. Pre-registration appreciated.
